Leenie, DCO owner

Meet Gold Acres

My name is Leenie, I use the name Gold Acres on the Internet. It's a pun on my last name and where I live. Besides being a Calendar Artist for the past 12 years, I have been involved in helping others learn to use my favorite Graphics program, PhotoImpact through the Beginners Workshop. I am unofficially retired, and happy to be so. I have spent most of the last twenty years burning up the roads in the northeastern corner of Nevada repairing ATMs. I now stay at home and breed Pomeranian puppies. That's Jammie, one of my three girls I am holding. They become the subjects of some of my calendars from time to time. If you are interested in more about me, please check out my website here.

Boopalotta
Meet Boopalotta

My name is Ginny, I am from Philadelphia. I use the name Boop or Boopalotta on the Internet. I love anything Betty Boop. That's the reason for the name. I love making Betty Boop Calendars to share... Yes, I use them on my own desktop. I use my favorite Graphics program, PhotoImpact to make my Calendars. I love Pixel Art (my Favorite type of Painting) I learned how to use Photoimpact through the Beginners Workshop, and became a mentor for there for several years. When I started making Betty Boop calendars I didn't realize how many fans she had. As I like to say "Keep on Boopin"... I'll keep making Betty Boop calendars as long as you keep downloading them..

Meet Colleen, CmoCreations

I have been doing Graphic arts for the past 20 years. I had been working with person's with disabilities and art seemed to relax them and had found it helpful to draw, paint and sketch, art also gave them an outlet to express frustrations, etc.
I began using digital art 8 years ago, using PhotoImpact which was self taught utilizing wonderful tutorials found on the Internet ( a lot of them from MaryLou's Wishing Well tutorials!). 2 years ago when PIRC added the Desktop Calendar group I began creating calendars using PhotoImpact but then during the last year most of my calendars have been created using PSP. I have retired from providing home health care services and now create digital art.

I live in Ohio. I love nature and to travel. Photos of different trips find their into my calendars. Having spent some time with the Hopi, I have a deep appreciation for the Native American heritage and this theme finds its way into many of my calendars.
If you are interested in more about me, please check out my website here.

Pauline Meet Pauline, Digital Art By Pauline

My name is Pauline and I use the logo Digital Art By Pauline or DABP for my copyright watermark. Like most of us I started out with PhotoImpact and graduated from the Beginner's Workshop. I have been using Paint Shop Pro now for a few years, and most of my calendars are made with that.
I was born and raised in South Carolina, USA. I love it here. My husband and I were in the restaurant business until retiring a few years ago.
Other hobbies of mine are raising exotic Serama Bantams. You may see one or more of my flock in my calendars from time to time. I have also raised exotic birds, but last year I decided my work load was too heavy and I sold them all. I still have a few birds of my own who also may show up in calendars at times.
I love to read and knit when I can find the time. I have three elderly Chihuahuas that are really feeling their old age now. I also have a couple of nice big dogs in my yard that I rescued.
You may continue to see more of my calendars because I think I have become "hooked" on making them now. If you are interested in more about me, please check out my website here.
